Swedish-born Nick Bostrom (*1973) is founding director of the Future of Humanity Institute at Oxford University, and a philosopher known for his work on existential risk, the anthropic principle, human enhancement ethics, superintelligence risks, and the reversal test. He is author of the books ā€˜Anthropic Bias’ (2002) and ā€˜Superintelligence’ (2014), which he sees as a major source of opportunities and existential risks
