Swedish-born Nick Bostrom (*1973) is founding director of the Future of Humanity Institute at Oxford University, and a philosopher known for his work on existential risk, the anthropic principle, human enhancement ethics, superintelligence risks, and the reversal test. He is author of the books ‘Anthropic Bias’ (2002) and ‘Superintelligence’ (2014), which he sees as a major source of opportunities and existential risks
