2. Responsibility manifesto

  • I will exert my responsibility to the best of coming generations and the world as a whole. I will work to overcome my individual and collective traumata in order to be able to make responsible decisions. I understand that I am responsible for my own cultures, for understanding where they stemmed and where they deviated from responsibility, and for integrating them into a sustainable world culture, cherishing their cultural wealth but relating them rationally into peaceful interaction with others and putting into perspective aspects built on former domination and dissociation.
  • I promise to do my best to protect the institutions of Civil democracy and especially the secrecy and freedom of being influenced of others and my own decision-making and their and my own entering of trust. I may intensely argue with others on what are the best decisions, but I will never exert pressure on them that take away their responsibility for their own decision from them, and I will do all I can to prevent attempts to bias votes.
  • I respect in their experiences and desires all others who participate in Civil democracy and share the common commitment to a better future. I understand that there will not always be decision options available that do justice to all experiences and desires, but I will aim find such options and make them decisions.
  • I understand that open actors who act against these values may be restricted in their influence or completely excluded from the Civil-democratic process. I understand that collectives in which actions against these values have been found may be restricted in their influence. I understand that if I act against these values, I may be restricted in my influence within the Civil-democratic process.
